Zankore lands US$3.1b loan facility to finance Nvidia-powered AI platform

Indonesia-based AI platform Zankore announced on Wednesday it has secured a senior term loan facility of up to US$3.1 billion to finance its planned deployment of Nvidia-powered AI infrastructure across Southeast Asia.
Citi, ING, Natixis CIB, Qatar National Bank (QNB) Group, and United Overseas Bank (UOB) acted as senior mandated lead arrangers, underwriters and bookrunners for the loan facility, which Zankore said is the first syndicated deal of this scale in APAC. Citi also served as the exclusive debt adviser on the transaction.
Proceeds from the debt financing will support the acquisition and deployment of Nvidia GPU infrastructure.
Zankore also said it is building an initial 100 MW of Nvidia AI infrastructure, which it will use to deliver cloud services to AI-native companies, enterprises, startups, developers and institutions across Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
The platform will provide high-performance GPU clusters designed for AI training and inference, giving customers access to dedicated, production-ready AI compute at scale and on demand.
Zankore also said a revenue-sharing and credit-support model will align infrastructure deployment with customer demand, helping broaden access to large-scale accelerated computing while providing Zankore with a capital-efficient path to scale.
“AI is creating a defining opportunity for Indonesia and Southeast Asia. The question is no longer simply whether the region will use AI, but whether we build the infrastructure that enables us to participate meaningfully in creating its future,” said Zankore’s director and chairman Vikram Sinha in a statement. “With Nvidia’s support, Zankore is building the advanced AI computing foundation needed to help turn that opportunity into reality.”
Zankore was launched last month by Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, Ooredoo Group, Nokia and Nvidia with the goal of building one of Asia’s largest AI infrastructure platforms, powered by Nvidia GB300 NVL72 systems and based on Nvidia's DSX reference architecture.
The first phase is expected to deliver around 200MW of regional AI capacity in the first half of 2027, and eventually scale up to 1GW.
