Fastmobile, which specialises in mobile integrated messaging and content solutions, has announced that Globe Telecom of The Philippines has selected its fmX (fastmobile Experience) technology as the platform for the new package of advanced value-added messaging services about to be launched.

The agreement enables the creation of services and delivery to Globe's 12 million subscribers.
With fmx users can utilise presence-based applications for mobile IM, e.g., as Chikka, MSN, Yahoo and others as well as an integrated native address book along with a host of integrated messaging features. fmX? enables multimedia functionality such as text, picture and video messaging along with gaming, Voice Instant Messaging and business applications. These services deploy on both 2.5 and 3G networks, which Globe plans on launching in the near future. The agreement brings fmx services to one of the world's most advanced mobile telecommunications markets. The service, currently planned to be marketed under the Globe brand, will offer Filipino mobile phone users a one-of-a-kind integrated combination of integrated messaging and advanced multimedia messaging features. * fastmobile is a privately held venture-backed company headquartered in Chicago. It focuses on increasing mobile user interactions with each other and with content. Built on a patent-pending technology platform developed over a period of nearly four years, services operate globally on 2.5 and 3G mobile networks.
