PTCL and Indus Cloud to deliver Huawei Cloud stack in Pakistan

Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Indus Cloud to introduce advanced cloud solutions powered by cloud services provider Huawei Cloud in Pakistan.

PTCL is  the national telecommunications provider in Pakistan, majority-owned by the government. Indus Cloud describes itself Pakistan’s first commercial data centre and cloud service provider. It is part of the Master Group of Companies, a leading conglomerate in Pakistan, which says this partnership marks a significant step in PTCL’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its cloud and data centre portfolio and expand access to enterprise-grade digital infrastructure in the country.

This collaboration brings together PTCL’s nationwide connectivity and data centre infrastructure, Indus Cloud’s local expertise and Huawei Cloud’s globally benchmarked technology. The result, say the partners, is a robust cloud ecosystem designed to meet Pakistan’s evolving digital needs while ensuring reliability, security and compliance.

The collaboration, they add, will make Huawei Cloud stack services more accessible to enterprise and government customers, enabling secure, scalable, and locally hosted solutions tailored to evolving business needs.

Asif Ahmad, Chief Business Solutions Officer, PTCL & Ufone 5G, says: “At PTCL, we are building the country’s most comprehensive digital infrastructure ecosystem, combining connectivity, data centres and cloud to enable this transition at scale. Through this partnership, we are further strengthening our cloud portfolio by bringing Huawei Cloud stack capabilities to Pakistan, empowering enterprises and government institutions with globally benchmarked solutions delivered with local reliability, compliance and support.”
