It’s already proving a busy week for Bahrain-headquartered technology group Beyon, with a cybersecurity-related deal and a new brand identity launch, along with associated investment plans for Jordan, now making news for the company.
Firstly, Beyon Cyber, part of the Beyon Group, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Haven Cyber Technologies, a global cybersecurity services provider, to form a strategic partnership to deploy and integrate Orryx AI, Beyon Cyber’s innovative agentic AI solution for security operations centres (SOCs), within Haven’s security operations environment. The goal is to enhance protection of Haven’s global customer base and to support Beyon Cyber’s global expansion.
Orryx AI is described as the region’s first fully autonomous SOC platform. Unlike traditional tools that overwhelm analysts with alerts, Orryx AI autonomously investigates, prioritises, and responds to threats. By combining intelligent noise reduction with adaptive learning, it delivers machine-speed triage, actionable insights, and continuous protection, allowing SOC teams to focus on high-impact decisions instead of manual firefighting.
This week has also seen Beyon announce the launch of Umniah by Beyon in Jordan, reflecting what Beyon calls it strategic vision to unify its telecommunications brands under one dynamic identity, while reinforcing the group’s strength across the company’s global footprint.
Beyon says the launch of Umniah by Beyon represents a natural continuity of Beyon’s strategy to cement its presence as a technology-focused global group with investments spanning 17 markets across three continents. As part of this strategic direction, new investments of approximately JOD 300 million (about US$423.1 million) are to be deployed in Jordan over the next five years.
Beyon says Umniah by Beyon will continue to leverage the Group’s international expertise to accelerate digital development in Jordan. The company’s upcoming projects include the establishment of a state-of-the-art data centre, the expansion of 5G infrastructure, the introduction of Wi-Fi 7 technology, and the rollout of new fibre networks across the capital Amman, and nearby regions Balqa and Zarqa, with a focus on Wadi Araba, a large geographical area located in the southwest of Jordan.
