Orange Tunisie announced on Monday it has signed a strategic partnership deal with digital services firm Focus Tunisie to accelerate corporate access to sovereign cloud and infrastructure solutions.
Orange and Focus said they intend to collaborate on helping Tunisian enterprises of all sizes in their digital transformation projects by offering them locally hosted cloud environments.
The two companies said that using local cloud solutions will give enterprises more control of data and infrastructure location, better performance and technical support, a scalable infrastructure and greater flexibility in deployment and evolution of IT environments.
Ahmed Ben Said, chief business officer at Orange Tunisia, said the partnership with Focus strengthens its portfolio of ICT and cloud solutions and its ability to support companies in their digital transformation projects.
"This partnership allows us to offer Tunisian companies high-performance cloud solutions adapted to their needs, while offering them the proximity and support of our B2B teams,” he said in a joint statement.
For Focus Tunisia, this collaboration marks a new step in the development of its cloud activity and in its mission to make cloud infrastructures accessible to as many companies as possible, added Imen Nabli, sales director of Focus Cloud.
"This partnership makes it possible to propose an approach that combines technological performance, security, data control and local support,” she said.
