Ooredoo Palestine extends Qvantel partnership to scale data services and digital growth

Ooredoo Palestine renewed its multi-year partnership with Finnish BSS/OSS vendor Qvantel.

Qvantel announced in a statement, the deal followed the completion of a full-stack revenue management upgrade that introduced real-time charging and billing capabilities for the operator.

The enhanced platform, incorporating Optiva technology now part of Qvantel, is designed to support faster product launches, stronger data monetisation and more flexible digital services, while maintaining performance and stability under demanding conditions. For Ooredoo Palestine, the upgrade strengthens its ability to scale data services and deliver consistent connectivity as demand for high-speed mobile data continues to rise.

The operator serves around 1.55 million subscribers and grew its customer base by roughly 9% year-on-year in the first half of 2024.

Qvantel said the renewed agreement builds on a long-standing relationship and positions Ooredoo Palestine to expand its digital services portfolio using its wider Flex BSS and monetisation suite, following the integration of Optiva into the group.
