Egypt's Bank NXT has announced the extension of its collaboration with Network International, a leading fintech company in the Middle East and Africa, to accelerate the digitisation of its payment services and further modernise its payments infrastructure.

As part of the collaboration, Bank NXT, a provider of integrated retail and corporate banking solutions in Egypt, will migrate its ATM and debit card portfolio to Network’s end-to-end processing platform, enabling more streamlined operations, strengthening security controls and enhancing customer experience.

Bank NXT says the agreement underscores its strategic commitment to advancing its payments infrastructure in partnership with Network. Migration supports the Bank’s expansion agenda by building trust among existing and new customers.

It adds that the partnership comes at a significant time, as Egypt’s banking sector is undergoing a rapid digital transformation, driven by the Central Bank of Egypt to foster a thriving digital economy.

Tamer Seif El-Din, CEO and Managing Director of Bank NXT, explains: “Migrating our debit card and ATM portfolio to Network’s robust processing platform will enable us to achieve greater operational efficiency, introduce innovative services faster, and ultimately, provide a seamless, secure, and digitally advanced banking experience.”

This is the latest in a number of North African contract wins for Network International in the past 18 months. They include a strategic processing agreement with Saudi Sudanese Bank [in January this year](https://developingtelecoms.com/telecom-technology/60-consumer-ecosystems/19638-network-international-announces-major-fintech-deal-in-sudan.html) and, [in September 2025](https://developingtelecoms.com/telecom-technology/60-consumer-ecosystems/19079-fintech-and-major-bank-partner-to-boost-digital-payments-in-libya.html), a strategic partnership agreement with Libya’s National Union Bank (NUB), aimed at modernising Libya’s banking sector and expanding access to secure, innovative financial services.
